The PK-1 Lions had a ROAR-some time on their field trip to the Tulsa Zoo today! 🦁🐒🐘 We may not have a ton of pictures to share since everyone was busy exploring in different groups, but that just means our students were fully immersed in all the learning and fun the zoo has to offer! From amazing animals to hands-on discoveries, it was a day full of smiles, curiosity, and adventure. More memories were made than we could capture—but we promise it was a wild success! 💛 #WeAreTheLions

We’re kicking off Staff Appreciation Week the best way we know how… with breakfast! 🍳🥐
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTO for treating our staff this morning to a delicious spread of casseroles, quiche, and yogurt parfaits. It was the perfect way to start the week and remind our team how much they’re appreciated.
We are so grateful for the continued support from our PTO and community—you always go above and beyond for our staff!
Here’s to a great week celebrating the incredible people who make South Coffeyville Schools so special 💛

Baccalaureate for the SC Class of '26 is Sunday, May 10 at the First Baptist Church in South Coffeyville. It starts at 6:00. Seniors need to be there by 5:45 in cap and gown.

We’re kicking off Staff Appreciation Week by giving a big shoutout to our hardworking lunch team! 🍎🥪
They keep our cafeteria running like a well-oiled machine—making sure meals are ready on time, lines keep moving, and our students are fed every single day. It’s not an easy job, and it takes consistency, dedication, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes effort.
While they may keep things efficient and to the point, we appreciate the important role they play in taking care of our students and keeping our school day running smoothly.
Join us in thanking our lunch staff for all they do for South Coffeyville Schools this week!

South Coffeyville Schools is proud to celebrate one of our own! 🎉
Our 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Cathy Reeves, has been selected to present at the 2026 Teacher Academy: Level Up! hosted by the Osage County Interlocal Cooperative on July 22–23 in Hominy, OK.
Mrs. Reeves will be sharing innovative and engaging strategies she uses to reach students in her classroom—methods that are making a real difference for our young learners every day. Her passion, creativity, and commitment to student success truly set her apart.
We are incredibly proud to have Mrs. Reeves represent South Coffeyville Schools and the amazing work happening in our classrooms. Join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved opportunity! 🦁❤️

There are moments that remind us what truly matters in a school❤️
We captured some incredibly special photos of our students sharing hugs with Chief Lamb—known lovingly by so many as “Chief Papa.” The smiles, the comfort, and the genuine connection in these moments say more than words ever could.
Chief Lamb represents more than a role in our community—he represents safety, trust, and a steady presence our students know they can count on. Seeing our kids run to him with open arms is a beautiful reflection of the relationships that make South Coffeyville School feel like family.
It’s these connections that shape our students’ hearts just as much as their minds. We are so grateful for the people who show up every day and love our kids like their own.
Take a moment to look through these photos—you’ll see it. 💛
