During Staff Appreciation Week, we want to recognize someone who has dedicated an incredible 36 years to South Coffeyville Schools—our amazing custodian, Sandy Veley! 💙🦁
For decades, Sandy has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors each and every day. Her hard work, dedication, and care for our school do not go unnoticed.
Thirty-six years of service is truly remarkable, and we are so thankful for everything Sandy has done for generations of Lions. Thank you, Sandy, for your commitment to South Coffeyville Schools and for all the ways you help make our school feel like home!

Tia, AKA school nurse, secretary, bus driver, coach...keeps the elementary running smoothly with the perfect balance of love and firmness. From answering phones, to managing shot records, to tracking attendance, she is such an important part of our school family!
And then there’s Hali at the high school… who I accidentally caught giving her best “strict business only” look in her photo 😂 We promise she does smile sometimes! In all seriousness, Hali works incredibly hard to keep everything organized and taken care of at the high school. She also makes sure all classes are covered (for the entire school) when various staff are gone for different things. She is a true Lion at heart and her love of this school shows daily! We appreciate all Hali does for our students and staff.

Project Palace is Monday, May 11 from 5:30 to 7:00 in the gym. All student projects will be on display. OPEN to the PUBLIC.
The annual Project Palace is Monday, May 11 from 5:30-7:00 pm. It is mandatory for all of my students who have created at least one project this school year. It is worth 300 points.

During Staff Appreciation Week, we want to take a moment to recognize someone who plays a vital role in keeping our school safe every single day—our School Resource Officer, Officer Mike Talbott.
Officer Talbott goes above and beyond to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff. Whether he’s building positive relationships with students, offering guidance, or simply being a reassuring presence in our hallways, his impact is felt throughout our entire school.
We are incredibly grateful for his dedication, commitment, and the care he shows to our Lion family each day.

YES it is TRUE we do have School ! It will be the last Friday before school is out and we all get to come and share time together... What a way to end the school year!
The PK-1 Lions had a ROAR-some time on their field trip to the Tulsa Zoo today! 🦁🐒🐘 We may not have a ton of pictures to share since everyone was busy exploring in different groups, but that just means our students were fully immersed in all the learning and fun the zoo has to offer! From amazing animals to hands-on discoveries, it was a day full of smiles, curiosity, and adventure. More memories were made than we could capture—but we promise it was a wild success! 💛 #WeAreTheLions
