LEAVING: Tomorrow, 8:00 AM sharp from South Coffeyville School
What to Bring:
Track gear, running shoes, and any required uniforms (Get them washed and ready this Evening)
Snacks for fuel during the meet
Sunscreen — it will be a beautiful 71 degree day, so protect your skin

Our STEM field trip to Big Brutus was an unforgettable way to see science, technology, engineering, and math in action! Students explored one of the largest electric shovels ever built and learned how engineering and technology were used to power massive mining operations. We discussed the science behind how the machine moves and the math involved in its design and operation. Seeing Big Brutus up close helped students connect classroom learning to real-world applications and sparked great curiosity about careers in STEM!
The after school STEM Club is open to all 1st through 5th grade students and meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month beginning in October.

South Coffeyville Schools would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Hite Heating and Cooling for their generous donation of a new heating and air conditioning unit for our weight room—along with their time and expertise to install it!
