Parents: There is a Career Fair at OKU and All South Coffeyville High School 10th to 12th grade students will travel to OKU on Wednesday, January 14th for the Career Fair. We will leave at 12:30 and return at 2:15. A career fair is part of the ICAP (Individual Career and Academic Plan) required by the State of Oklahoma for graduation.
ASVAB for Juniors: South Coffeyville High School Juniors will travel to OKU tomorrow to take the ASVAB. We will leave at 12:30 and return at 2:30. All Juniors will take the test.
Cherokee Nation Scholarship Deadline Approaching:
Reminder that the Cherokee Nation Spring 2026 Concurrent Scholarship closes next Tuesday, January 20th, at 5 PM. If you have any Cherokee juniors or seniors who have not applied yet, please have them do so before the deadline! As a reminder, the students have to have their approval letters before they can charge their books and supplies to their student accounts.
Also, all current applications up to today (1/11) for the concurrent scholarship have been reviewed, and the students who are missing information have all been contacted. The vast majority are missing their college transcripts, so they might be looking for help getting that document. The transcript has to include their fall final grades, as well as their overall earned credits and GPA.
