
National School Counseling Week February 2nd-6th. Here are the statistics for the First Semester:

# of students accepted to a 2 year college - 16
# of students accepted to a 4 year college - 8
# of students enrolled in Concurrent classes - 9
# of students accepted to an internship program - 1
# of Whole of Class Lessons - 57
# of students receiving Small Group Counseling - 14
# of students receiving 1 time intervention or support - 87
# of students supported in completing the ICAP requirement (Some more than once) - 149
# of Minute Meetings - 94
# of Family Engagement Activities - 3
# of Families Participating - 5.
The following were available to students:
2 OBI Blood Drives 32 students participating
Tech School, College Reps or military came to school to speak with students: Tri-County Tech, CCC, Air force, Marines, National guard, US Army
College application Week: All seniors applied to Tech, college, or military.
OBI Leadership Conference: 9 students participating
Students Volunteered to assist NAFI with the day of Unity: 9 students Numerous other volunteer hours are being earned by the students. Upcoming: Great American Cleanup Day for High School Students
College Visits: NEO Junior/Senior Day, CCC Senior Day, CCC lineman and Welding Programs,
This semester so far: VVEC, OSUIT, Career Fair, TCTC Sophomore tour & Open house
2 Small Groups: 1 for 7th/8th grade girls and one for MS Social skills
